Sewing Training sponsored by Abilis (Finland)

I have been monitoring Santipur and we had sewing training closing program finished yesterday. It was 9 hours from Tamghas to Santipur. We used the Ambulance donated from Gulmi Jilla Samaj U.K. so we went another side of good road from Ridi so we left the night before yesterday and came back yesterday 11 pm in the night.

Some places are really very dangerous for walking and we stopped Ambulance and our staff were carrying me and some places I could walk.

They were very happy after meeting me and gave me a welcome speech with rose mala and red tika. Santipur is very remote area. 9 female were attending the 4 months sewing training.

They bought also Kitchen Items from ABILIS fund and they cook food themself and they are staying there some are severely disabled.
We had nice closing program with some other public also attending and they gave a lot thanks for ABILIS project and Hope Disability Centre. All nine girls were very excited to open their own new shop in has different VDC in Santipur. I gave sewing Certificate to all of the nine trainees and I gave speech about the aim of ABILIS and after training what ABILIS want to output from our sewing students. This Project is very important for making new life for women with disable people.

Once again Thank you so much ABILIS for your great support because of your help so many are getting an independent and new life . Please see the photos.

Namaste from Nepal!
