It was not possible to save Partiksha’s deformed, shorter left leg and it was decided that the best option was to amputate it and get her a good artificial limb. Because of her shorter left leg she was also suffering from a spinal deformity.
The amputation was recently done and paid for by ALTSO. At the moment she is cared for by Ganga (herself a double amputee) at Hope Centre because her parent’s house is not in a good state to care for her after the operation. She looks so tall now she can stand up straight.
