We had a small deaf boy here who had not heard much of a sound in 14 years…and fitted him with good hearing aid..and then heard perfectly.. but having not heard any words ever could not speak…he only grunted sounds before this…so now is learning MUM and NAMASTE today… RTE he has good writing skills …
